Description: Social Media Training is playing a key role in emergency preparedness. This course is designed for members of emergency preparedness and response programs in Western Massachusetts and is designed to help local first responder communities learn the latest techniques for social media use in all phases of emergency management: preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery. This is the second of three offerings of the course. Pre-training materials and information are available at the training blog found at  WesternMassSMEM.wordpress.com. Interested participants are encouraged to follow this blog as online pre-training sessions will be provided here.

Participants: Training is open to WRHSAC constituents, including individuals from each of the 10 DHS  disciplines, within the boundaries of the western region geographical area. If you do not fall into this category, you will be placed on a waiting list. Registration for the course is found here.
